How many people in a bridal party can you provide service to?

Adjoa is able to take on minimum 3 persons which will include the bride. Maximum 6 people. She also has handy subcontracted makeup artist she will recommend to you as well if needed. once ready to inquire, kindly send inquiry via contact and Adjoa will get back to you within 5 working days.

What is your normal working start time? What happens if early start is needed ?

Working hours begin at 8am. If you need your bridal group to finish at specific time, please let us know as there may be additional cost. Start time for our service will depend on number of people in your bridal party as well as time yo request everyone to be finished by.

International or interstate Travel Requirement

Interstate Travel Policy:

• The client is responsible for booking and covering the cost of return airfares, including transfers from the artist’s destination to Sydney, scheduled for arrival the day before the event.

• A minimum luggage allowance of 25kg, plus carry-on baggage, must be included.

• The client must provide transportation to and from the accommodation and the service venue.

• The client is required to provide high-standard accommodation for two nights (check-in the day before the wedding and check-out the day after the wedding).

This includes the use of extensive, high-performance products tailored to your individual needs, advanced product knowledge, ongoing access to your artist, expert advice and guidance, and the application of specialised techniques to ensure you look radiant and confident on your special day.

Your artist will also provide a complimentary touch-up kit to support longevity throughout the day.

Luxury Engagement Makeup Application (lobelia, nikah,etc): $390

Includes, brow grooming as needed, skin care applications for specific skin types, individualised full face flawless makeup look (you choose a look), a mini telephone consultation to discuss makeup looks and suitability, The use of products to rejuvenate and hydrate your skin for flawless finish, The use of top quality products for extreme longevity, complimentary mini touch-up kit. I ensure your makeup photographs and videographers Please note artist's start time is from 7am. However a 6am start time without extra cost to you is allowed. Any earlier start time will include additional cost. Your artist can provide early start service.

Luxury Bridal Makeup Application; White Wedding, Traditional Bridal etc : $400

This service includes a mini facial, Vitamin C exfoliation, brow grooming (as required), and tailored skincare applications specific to your skin type. You will receive an individualised, full-face flawless makeup look (artist’s choice), along with a mini telephone consultation to discuss your desired makeup style and suitability.

A rejuvenating and hydrating face mask is used to prepare the skin for a seamless, long-lasting finish. Only premium, high-end products are used to ensure extreme longevity. A complimentary touch-up kit is included, plus a BONUS Bridal Skincare Guide. Your makeup is professionally applied to ensure it photographs and films flawlessly under all lighting conditions.

Start Time: Artist start time is from 7:00am. A 6:00am start time is available at no additional cost. Any start time earlier than 6:00am will incur an additional early-start fee. Early start services can be provided upon request.

Luxury Bridal photos shoot Makeup: $300

Includes: Mini facial, Vitamin C glow exfoliation, brow grooming (as required), and skincare applications tailored to your specific skin type. A full-face, long-lasting bridal makeup look of your choice is included.

Please note: A touch-up kit is not included in this service. Should you wish to add a touch-up kit, this will be available at an additional cost.

Luxurious Bridal Makeup Trial (upto 2 hours): $400 (in studio)

Includes: An in-depth bridal consultation covering all aspects of your booking. Your artist will discuss and trial up to two makeup looks. You will be asked to provide reference images of any looks you may prefer; alternatively, your artist can create a bespoke look that complements your complexion, facial features, and personal style.

Skincare needs will be discussed, along with other preparation recommendations that contribute to achieving your best possible look on the day. Your artist will also review your outfit selections, overall style, and chosen hairstyle to ensure a cohesive and well-balanced bridal look that enhances both your natural beauty and your attire.

You will receive personalised trial notes outlining next steps and recommendations following your appointment.

Please note: No touch-up kit is included in this service.

Important: If you have a preferred makeup look, please send reference images to your artist in advance. If no reference is provided, your artist will create a look for you. This helps minimise delays and ensures a smooth and efficient trial session.Discovery Bridal phone Consultation (BRIDE): $60

If a bride is not booking a mandatory trial, they are required to book a consultation. This allows brief engagement on your needs and requirements so that your artist can provide you with the best service.

Bridesmaids Makeup Application - $200 (with mini touch up $230)

Includes long lasting full makeup application, Any look of your choice within time frame, use of high end products for extra longivity, lashes and mini touch-up kit for later refreshment. Assurance that makeup will photograph well under any lighting condition.

Wedding guest (mother of bride, family, friends etc) - $200

Includes full makeup look - soft glam makeup application by artist. Long lasting products used. A look designed to suit your outfit. Includes touch up kit.

Want us to refresh or change the makeup look at your designated reception? yes we offer that service too. Book Touch-Up/Stand-by Services at $200p/hr. *Please note Travel fees will apply to and from artist location.

DELUXE SERVICE FOR A BRIDE ONLY

At xceptional makeup, we understand that sometimes you as the bride may be the only one requiring makeup done. As we are all about making your day memorable, we are flexible to provide that service to you. This means that we can travel to any location in melbourne to glam you up the xceptional way for your big day. This also includes free travel upto 10KM radius. Any extra travel time will be charged at usual travel rate.

MAKEUP COST: $600 (please be mindful this does not include travel costs as well as out of studio fees). This includes 30 minutes consultation at artist studio or phone consultation as well, full makeup application, skin care, select a look of your choice, ongoing booking consults specifically to your bridal party, touch up gift to use as required on the day to ensure you look fresh.

Please note: parking fees must be covered if required (CBD, parking metre parking etc)

Please Note* A bridal trial is mandatory to ensure your desired look is determine. This means there will be No surprises on the day of your wedding. Avoid the stress, consider a trial. A trial is charged at the same price as your wedding day. You can self book this via our booking site.

THOROUGH EXPLANATION OF THE SERVICE Includes in-depth bridal consultation with you face to face on everything there is to know to make sure your bridal makeup is nailed. In this appointment, you will be shown (if you don’t have already) a few examples of bridal makeup looks that are flattering to the structure of your face as well as complexions. From then you can choose a look that appeals to you with guidance from your artist. The next step will be skin consultations. We will then go into creating the look. At each stage from brows to eyes to face to colors; you will be involved to ensure you are happy with everything. Once the look is created, your artist will capture images to ensure these photographs well as well as a reference for the day.

W don’t provide such service at the moment however we work with independent hair stylists who will carefully work with you to create a style you will love! Interested? Bridal Touch up Services

Includes - Refreshing your makeup for a further flawless and long lasting look. This can include, eye shadow change, lashes, lipsticks, blush and so much more. This service is available to the entire bridal party. The charge for this is $200 for the first hour then $50 per hour there after. Travel is charged as additional fee. Travel charge for this is calculated at 1.60 per kilometre each way.

The Bridal Checklist

If we don’t plan we plan to fail. The traditional is based on an old English rhyme - something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, a sixpence in your shoe! Do you remember this? I know I don’t remember much but I know enough to remember if we don’t plan we plan to fail. As a bride, there needs to be a recorded checklist and check-in. Some of the most common ones are as follows: VENUE, FOOD, DRESSES, MAKEUP, HAIR STYLING, FLOWERS, DJ, STATIONARIES, BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES, PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY, GIFT FAVOURS, FLORIST, DECOURATORS And so much more. These are only a starting point. Be sure to leave some spaces to add. One more thing is the importance of delegation. I can’t stress enough the number of times my brides have shared the level of stress they experience planning a wedding. Delegation will take pressure of you I promise.

WHAT ARE THE TOP 5 THINGS YOU NEED IN A TOUCH-UP KIT?

1. Blotting paper x 2 - This helps refresh your makeup by taking away any shine. It is generally translucent which means it can be used by any complexion with no flashbacks

2. Lipstick and a gloss. At the end of the day leading to the wedding reception, if you’ve not added stand-by services, you will need to revive your lips from dehydration and kissing! Nothing beats moisturise lips

3. Single wipe - remove old lips leaving a smooth base for the new

4. Eyebrow pencil or powder - Colours used on the brows can fade at times, touch up is essential

5. Tissues and mascara! They go hand in hand when the emotions(love expression) take over
