Hello beautiful, we love that you’ve booked with us and that you are trusting us to beatify you on your special occasion. As we want to make sure we provide the best service and in a timely manner, bellow are some house keeping reminders we will like you to familiarise your self with
CLOTHING/DRESSING TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please wear appropriate clothing for weather and your comfort. Loose clothing is advised especially if you are changing clothing after.
HOUSE KEEPING RULES
Please NO children allowed at the studio. Arrive with NO other persons.
Toilet facility available for your convenience.
BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO STANDARD SERVICES
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Please note that all deposits are strictly non-refundable.
If you are unwell (coughs, cold, flu, any viral infections) DO NOT attend your appointment. Inform your artist straight away. Refunds and or credit note maybe warranted so long as you have evidence of illness. If you attend, you will be sent away.
Changes to your booking can be made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment via the link provided in your confirmation email. For group bookings, please contact your artist no later than two (2) weeks prior to your appointment to discuss available options. Failure to do so will result in cancelation of your booking.
If you have made full payment via the website and are unable to attend, you must notify your artist strictly within 24 hours so that your booking can be rescheduled to your preferred date and time. If you choose to no longer use our services, you may transfer your credit to a nominated person. Refunds are not available under any circumstance.
If you do not attend your appointment or are late past the grace period time(5-10 mins) without any clear communication, Your booking will be canceled. No refund or rescheduling is warranted here. In instance where you communicate clearly and respectfully with your artist, you may be eligible for a credit note (50%) of the full amount you paid at their discretion.
Please ensure you arrive on time. A 10-minute grace period is allowed for lateness with valid communication. Beyond this, additional time is charged at $5 per minute, subject to the artist’s discretion and availability. Arrivals later than 15 minutes will result in automatic cancellation with no refund or credit.
Ensure you book a service that matches your occasion, as techniques, product choices, and finish (including photography/videography quality and longevity) may vary. You are encouraged to send inspiration photos to your artist before the appointment. If none is provided, the artist will create a suitable look based on their professional judgment.
If your appointment is cancelled by the artist, you will receive a full refund, and your artist will assist in helping you find an alternative artist where possible.
WHEN YOUR ARTIST TRAVELS TO YOU
You are required to provide a safe environment for your artist to set up on arrival. A location where there’s light, power points is ideal.
Any unnecessary extended use of makeup artist time while doing your makeup will be charged at $50p/hr, So please be mindful of the look you wish for us to create for you and stick to it while we create without chopping and changing constantly as this extends artist time.
Standard Callout fee of $200 applies to all away booking for less than 3 people. For out of state and international bookings, this is calculated differently. Please inquire.
If starting Earlier than 8am, there will be extra charges dependant on the time you require your artist to start. Please discuss this with your artist.

TRAVELING AND IN STUDIO SERVICES SUNDAYS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAY RATES INFO
We are able to travel locally, nationally and internationally. Travel locally is charged at $1.60 per kilometre EACH way. On public holidays, surcharge of 25% will apply ontop of your booking cost. For Sunday bookings there is surcharge of 15% ontop of makeup cost. Bookings made on artist day off incurs additional cost of $250 (studio only).
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY
To Showcase our work, we will love to take some images or videos before and after makeup is done. These maybe displayed on our social media links or website. As a token you will receive some images and videos if any. Please may you indicate at your appointment if you do not want photos or videos taken.If you do a no show to your scheduled appointment without any communication, you will be blacklisted and unable to book future appointments with us without warning.

Bridal Booking Agreement
Reservation, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
This Agreement is entered into between Xceptional Makeup (“Artist”) and the Client upon payment of the required booking fee.
1. Securing Your Wedding Date
To secure a wedding booking, a non-refundable 40%- 50% booking deposit is required. The remaining balance must be paid no later than (3) days prior to the scheduled booking date. Your wedding date is not considered confirmed until the booking fee has been received and acknowledged by Xceptional Makeup. If you choose to pay the full amount within seven (7) days of your booking date, and need to cancel under legitimate and verified circumstances, you may be eligible for a refund or credit note under the makeup artist discretion.
Once payment has been made, the Artist reserves that date exclusively for the Client and may decline other enquiries for the same date.
The amount of $150 bond will also apply to all bridal and group bookings. This bond is to ensure commitment to artist start and service provision times. If these are violated in any way, the bond will be forfeited. If everything goes according to plan, you will receive your bond back within 7 days.
2. Purpose of the Booking Fee
The booking fee serves as a reservation retainer and is not a refundable payment.
The Client understands that the booking fee covers the Artist’s commitment to:
Reserve and exclusively hold the wedding date
Turn away other potential bookings for that date
Complete administrative work, scheduling, planning, and consultation
Allocate business resources and preparation related to the event
As these commitments begin immediately upon booking, the booking fee remains non-refundable.
3. Cancellation by the Client
Should the Client cancel the booking for any reason, including but not limited to a change of plans, postponement, venue changes, relationship breakdown, financial circumstances, or cancellation of the wedding, the booking fee will be retained by Xceptional Makeup.
Any payments designated as the booking fee are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated in this Agreement.
4. Rescheduling Requests
If the Client wishes to move the wedding to a new date, Xceptional Makeup may, at its sole discretion and subject to availability, transfer the booking to the requested date.
Approval of a date transfer is not guaranteed. If the Artist is unavailable on the proposed new date, the request may be treated as a cancellation and the original booking fee will remain non-refundable.
5. Special Circumstances
Xceptional Makeup understands that unforeseen life events may occur.
In exceptional and verifiable circumstances that directly impact the booking, the Artist may choose to discuss alternative arrangements, including a service credit or date transfer where appropriate.
Any accommodation offered is entirely at the Artist’s discretion and does not create an obligation to provide a refund.
6. Service Credit
Where approved by Xceptional Makeup, a service credit may be issued and applied toward future services.
Any credit issued:
Must be used within six (12) months of the original event date unless otherwise agreed in writing
Is non-transferable
Cannot be exchanged for cash
Will expire if unused within the stated validity period
7. Refund Policy
The Client acknowledges that the booking fee is non-refundable under normal circumstances.
The booking fee is paid in exchange for reserving the Artist’s availability and compensating the business for opportunities declined and resources allocated once the booking is confirmed. It is not dependent on the eventual provision of services.
Acceptance of Terms
Payment of the booking fee confirms that the Client has read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Agreement.
